This expansive 863-hectare park connects with the Point Cook Marine Sanctuary. It is a popular spot with birdwatchers and families alike who come to enjoy the abundant birdlife, a beach picnic area and the historic homestead, Each year, the park and the nearby Cheetham Wetlands plays host to thousands of migratory water birds from as far away as Japan and Siberia.

 

Hobsons Bay Coastal Trail

This shared path forms part of the Bay Trail, running from the west side of the Westgate Bridge and finishing at the Skeleton Creek Trail.
